RE: Six Nations - Sporran - 02-28-2009 08:14 PM

well have to admit that yesterday the best team won, we got completely over powered by France, opportunities given and nothing taken.

But watching the I v E game, omfg how many yellows do England want by the end of the tourney ive never seen so many yellows and penalties given. Its embarrasing :o

RE: Six Nations - Logrus - 03-01-2009 05:28 PM

It fucking sure is...

Sad

RE: Six Nations - G DUB - 03-09-2009 03:28 PM

RE: Six Nations - Wraith - 03-10-2009 08:25 AM

RE: Six Nations - WorkSlave - 03-13-2009 11:10 AM

I'll be in Richmond for the game this weekend having a few beers.

If anyone is about or going to the match give me a shout :Dbeer

RE: Six Nations - Sporran - 03-16-2009 04:50 PM

i will start by saying a win is a win but it wasnt really pretty shitty game tbh

but i will say WTF happended to england, they were spot on. No send offs, clean tactical, compleetly owned the french.

A bit late now but boy a million times better than that last few games.

If only we had done that from the 1st week Sad I'm hoping Ireland do the grand slam now as its been something like 20 years for them since they done it.
On the plus side I just bought my Lions top today as it will be a cracking tour this summer. I cant wait for july to come around.

RE: Six Nations - WorkSlave - 03-23-2009 12:17 PM

So the results are in: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/4779371.stm

Ireland win their first Grand Slam since 1948 thanks largely to a pisspour performance by England.

England come second (had their behavior hadn't been of errant school boys in the Ireland match they'd of won on points, but to late now).

Wales...... 4th!!!! Can't stop laughing Smile

Have to say Wales v Ireland match a real cliff hanger. Some poor ref'ing from a consistence point of view but wtf. 5 minutes to go and the winner changes 3 times.

RE: Six Nations - Logrus - 03-23-2009 12:44 PM

Yeah - england v disappointing to start. Now we have to wait another year.

Spoz - your place for the next England / Wales match?

Wink

RE: Six Nations - Sporran - 03-23-2009 01:04 PM

more than welcome Smile

I can sort something proper out then lol.

Must say despite the loss the Wales v Ireland game was one of the most intense i have seen for some time.

Awesome game.

RE: Six Nations - G DUB - 03-23-2009 02:42 PM

can i just check, a grand slam is where they won all 5???

RE: Six Nations - Sir SpankalotUK - 03-23-2009 02:42 PM

Personally its been about the best six nations for me. Being half english and half irish. Humiliating France the way england did was totally worth the crap performance at the beginning. Also rather glad we beat Scotland (but thats for other reasons, which I won't go into).

RE: Six Nations - G DUB - 03-23-2009 02:47 PM

its the only one i have ever paid any attention to!!!
