Logrus' New Arrival
Ok, so this isn't actually mine, but it looks absolutely spitting!

£775 from a lovely lady in Kettering, bought 7 days after passing my CBT (in the pissing wind, rain and mist) having NEVER set arse on a motorbike before.

1996 Suzuki GN 125, near-mint condition, 7.5k miles on the clock.

LOVING IT

I will take some proper photos.

5 gears, top speed of 80mph.

Glory.

RE: Logrus' New Arrival
Every since I put the Vance and Hines, Straightshot Slip-ons, the fuel mixture hasn't been great, took the quiet baffles out to see what difference it made, a little bit more noisy, but obviously the mixture worsened (became leaner). Been trying for 2 months to get a local garage to stage 1 my bike, but eventually gave up and went to Powerglides in Maidstone, who deal mostly with big twins. Bloke knows his shit, ECU has directly modified to enable and disable O2 sensors at certain points, fuel input has increased and spark timing have been changed. He has also mostly gotten rid of the popping on over-run. Fitted a high flow airfilter kit.

Black bar is before, the red afterwards. Top bars clearly show the lack of back pressure in the exhaust affecting performance in the 2,500 to 3,500 rev range. Engine is now happy to chug along at 1,200 rpm in 5th with no complaints. Engine note is also deeper/fuller now the mixture is set correctly.

He asked if I wanted fuel economy or throttle response, opted for the responsive throttle, and bloody hell is it ever.

My tractor is now a slightly faster tractor. Lovin it.

RE: Logrus' New Arrival
Log, if you don't mind me asking, how much was your CBT ?

Got a Aprilia Rally Moped in the garage and thinking it might be the start of my biking career, keep the car for the track bike for the road.
