Quote:Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS -- and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

RE: Prometheus
I read this one won't have the xenomorphs, sorry chaps. This'll be more of the Prometheus thing.

If your wanting more in the mould of 'aliens' then that'll be the Neil bloomkamp version you'll want to get excited for which will have weaver and bein. That'll be filmed after this Ridley Scott film.

I've watched Prometheus twice after see if it in the cinema. I'm still not that fussed about it, decent, but didn't leave me wanting more of it. Fassbender and idris Elba we're probably the best things about it.
Sorry, didn't realise bloomkamp had his postponed.

RE: Prometheus
I thought this one meant Bloomkamp's ideas had been 'indefinitely' shelved?
