The problem with the film, I think, is that every scene was the same - we'll be safe in this car (zombies get in) run away. We'll be safe in this building (zombies get in) run away. We'll be safe in this ridiculously badly 'fortified' city (zombies get in) run away. We'll be safe in this lab if we're quiet (zombies get in) END.

Oh. I thought when they got to that bit the movie would start. Such a thrillingly bad example of a good zombie movie...

But I can still see how it could be liked...

I think it plodded. There was little sense of urgency at any point. You didn't really see WHY everyone was helpless to present the spread of the zombie infection.

There was a disconnect with the main characters - I just didn't care that his family got kicked off the carrier.

AND lets face it there was a distinct lack of gore... WTF - it's a zombie movie, there should be buckets of it.
